New Humanity Movement


There is a bond between spirituality and social commitment that is summed up in ethics: the spiritual elevation of the individual guides it to responsible action in every environment. In the Gospel and in the Scared Books of the other religions there exists the so called Golden Rule, “Do to others what you wish others will do to you”: here is the proposal for a public set of ethics that is easy to translate into the ethics of history.

“The city, dear brothers and sisters, is all of us!” These are just some of the words of the act of homage Benedict XVI paid at the feet of the Immaculate Conception's statue in Piazza di Spagna in Rome, during the traditional ceremony on December 8th.
“I wish to pay tribute publicly to all those who in silence, not with words, but with deeds, make an effort to practice this evangelical law of love, which sends the world forward” said the pope in another passage of this speech. We propose below the text in its full version.
